General Hospital alum Kelsey Wang (ex-Daisy Kwan) is heading to The Young and the Restless as a young professional set to catch the eye of one of Genoa City's eligible bachelors.

A hot new romance may be on the horizon for one of the sexy men of The Young and the Restless, with a brand-new character set to catch the eye of an eligible bachelor in town next month.

Actress Kelsey Wang, known to soap fans for her recurring role as General Hospital's Daisy Kwan, has joined the CBS soap opera as Allie, a mysterious young professional who will have someone in Genoa City doing backflips to get near her.

A first-generation immigrant who grew up in Beijing and Singapore before moving to the US when she was seven, Wang attended Duke University and then trained with Maggie Flanigan for two years in Meisner technique, voice, and movement. She has appeared in projects such as Netflix's Daredevil, the dual language pilot Journey to the East, and the film Chimerica.

Wang's most recognizable role is that of GH's Daisy Kwan, a Dawn of Day cult member who actively recruited new members, including Kristina Corinthos (Lexi Ainsworth), who she managed to lure into the cult's clutches. Wang also previously appeared on Y&R as a vendor in an episode that aired in 2011.

The actress will make her first appearance as Y&R's Allie on Thursday, March 10.
