Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, General Hospital began broadcasting special throwback episodes until it was safe for the cast and crew to return to work. As a treat to viewers and a special thank you to those in the medical field, ABC aired encore presentations of Nurses Ball episodes. This episode originally aired on May 18, 2018. In the episode, musical performances included Ned, as his stage persona Eddie Maine, and Olivia performing "(What's So Funny 'Bout) Peace, Love and Understanding." Valentin also tried unsuccessfully to get Nina to leave the Nurses Ball early

Out in the hallway, Valentin tried to get Nina to head for home, but she refused. She wanted to see the acts including Valentin's, although he told her he had a piano for a private show in Morocco. She advised him that he'd promised Lucy he'd perform. She wanted to know what was going on, and she finally persuaded Valentin that they should stay until the end.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, General Hospital began broadcasting special throwback episodes until it was safe for the cast and crew to return to work. As a treat to viewers and a special thank you to those in the medical field, ABC aired encore presentations of Nurses Ball episodes. This episode originally aired on May 21, 2018. In the episode, Mike took to the stage to perform, but when he had trouble remembering the lyrics, Sonny jumped in to help.

Suddenly, Mike froze, and the band disappeared. Sonny had to help his father, so he jumped onstage and grabbed another microphone. He nodded to the accompanist, who began to play the song again. Sonny sang the next lyrics until Mike found his place in the song again, and the duo finished the song together. When the song was over, there was a standing ovation.

This episode originally aired on May 20, 2019. In the episode, the 2019 Nurses Ball kicked off with a performance from the GH nurses, a llama, and a runaway engagement ring.

The General Hospital nurses opened the Nurses Ball by performing "Best of My Love" by the Emotions. When the number ended, they received a standing ovation from the crowd. Lucy walked onstage to welcome the guests and thank the nurses. She reminded the audience that every dime raised went to the fight against HIV and AIDS.

At the Nurses Ball, Finn looked on in horror as the engagement ring, which he'd been holding until Robert had knocked into his arm, flew across the stage and stopped at Anna's feet. Robert urged him to retrieve it, and Finn wandered onto the stage. Everyone looked on with their mouths open wide as Finn dropped to one knee. "Anna Devane, will you marry me?" he asked.

This episode originally aired on May 22, 2019. In the episode, Ned and Olivia sang "Get Closer" by Seals & Crofts, Valentin Cassadine once against stole the show with a beautiful performance, and Josslyn sang "A List of Things to Do," a song she had written with Oscar.

Lucy returned to the stage and announced the next performer as Valentin. Valentin took a seat at the piano and accompanied himself to "Nothing Without You" by Vienna Teng, garnering a nice ovation when it was over. Backstage, Scott needed to talk to Kevin, but "Kevin" replied that he was in a hurry. Scott grabbed his hand to stop him, but the hand came off completely. "Ryan!" Scott realized. Ryan picked up a wrench and hit Scott over the head, knocking him unconscious. As he was about to hit Scott again, he heard Lucy and Epiphany talking about being one number short for the show.
